2

Mount an RJ-14 telephone jack near the spot where you will place your adapter. Mount another RJ-14 telephone jack on the wall near to where you will sit your telephone. Use a screwdriver and the screws or mounting tape supplied with the jack.

3

Strip off 3 inches from the tip of the telephone cable’s outer covering using diagonal pliers. Using a wire stripper, strip off 1/2 inch from the tip of the exposed red and green wires. Hook the red wire clockwise around the red terminal post, hook the green wire clockwise around the green terminal post, and tighten the terminal post screws using a slotted screwdriver.
